1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, govern your access and use of the website hookgen.ai and its associated services (collectively, the “Platform”). The Platform is operated as a Sole Trader enterprise based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must cease use of the site and services immediately.

2. The Technology

HookGen.ai provides high-fidelity music generation utilizing the Google Lyria 2 model via the Replicate API.

• Audio Fidelity: Each generation produces 30 seconds of professional-grade audio at **48kHz stereo**.
• SynthID Watermarking: All generated audio contains an inaudible digital watermark (SynthID) to identify AI-generated content. You agree not to attempt to remove or circumvent this watermark.
• Genre Scope: Supported styles include Classical, Jazz, Pop, Electronic, and Orchestral.

3. Credits & Payments

Accessing the generation engine requires credits, purchased via Stripe or PayPal.

Refund Policy: Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Requests for refunds on unused credits must be submitted within 7 days of purchase to @your company email.

4. Intellectual Property

Your Input: You retain ownership of the original text prompts provided to the model.

Generated Audio: You are granted a royalty-free license to use the generated 48kHz stereo audio for personal or commercial projects, provided the SynthID watermark remains intact.

5. Privacy & Data Handling

We protect our platform using reCAPTCHA v3 to prevent bot abuse and preserve our resource costs. Usage is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We collect name and email data via Clerk to manage your library. Audio files are stored on Firebase and metadata on NeonDB.
